We are seeking a technically skilled Java Engineer to join our dynamic Software Engineering department at AUTO1 Group Technology. Our team leverages cutting-edge technology to gather and analyze data, optimizing our platforms and processes within Europe's leading digital automotive platform, AUTO1 Group, known for brands like Autohero and wirkaufendeinauto.de.

Your Role

• Architect, develop, QA, ship, monitor, and maintain our service-oriented platform with microservices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Apply your hands-on experience and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges.
• Drive technological innovation to keep AUTO1 at the forefront of the industry.
• Lead by example, mentor team members, and push technological boundaries.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to uphold high business standards and explore other technologies and fields.

Your Skills

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Java programming, with Spring-based technologies and Java 8+.
• Responsibility for your team and software.
• Deep understanding of JVM.
• Strong experience in building RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot; experience with Spring Cloud is a plus.
