Eligibility criteria

Candidates will be evaluated according to the following criteria :

  • Possession of a previous degree in architecture, civil engineering, or related fields and a good academic record.

Specifically, the academic background will be assessed as follows :

1) The base score (BS) will be 10 points for candidates with a degree in architecture or civil engineering or other

engineering (or their equivalent), the base score will be 5 points.

2) The base score will then be multiplied by the grade point average (GPA) obtained on the academic record, which

will be normalized on a scale of 0 to 1. Thus, the grade obtained on the training scale will be the result of

multiplying BS x GPA.

  • Participation in previous research activities in the field of structural design with wood and / or mechanical testing

of timber structures. This participation will be demonstrated exclusively by having published a scientific article in

a prestigious international journal (indexed in WoS) or having made a contribution to a prestigious international

conference in the field of timber structures. Candidates with one or more articles / conferences in the discipline

will receive a total of 5 points if they are first author on any of their contributions, and 2.5 points if they are co-
