Job Description

You will work on the deepest part of the product within an autonomous and multidisciplinary team, delivering solutions aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities include:

1. Designing and proposing new features and technical solutions, going beyond just coding.
2. Collaborating with the Product Manager, Technical Lead, and Product Designer to ensure technical feasibility.
3. Working primarily on a Java-based backend ecosystem following Hexagonal Architecture, DDD, etc.
4. Using TypeScript, React Native, and various web/hybrid technologies to ensure seamless integration between backend and frontend when necessary.
5. Developing solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and accessible.
6. Challenging existing processes and proposing technical and functional improvements, fostering a critical mindset.
7. Leading initiatives within the team with support from the Tech Lead.

Skills, Know-how, and Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a backend engineer in a professional environment, preferably with Java.
• Experience in front-end development; React knowledge is a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience working with product teams, with a strong product-oriented mindset.
• Experience with strongly typed programming languages or willingness to learn.
• Comfort with pair programming when needed.
• Passionate about new technologies and problem-solving, offering fresh ideas.
• Ability to learn, understand, and develop best practices aligned with technical challenges.
• Highly communicative, capable of working with multiple teams, including internal and external team members, clients, and providers.
