A leading company is seeking an SAP Data Strategy & Governance Owner for an 18-month contract with potential for extension. This role involves developing data strategies and governance frameworks for SAP S/4HANA projects, primarily remote. Strong data experience and communication skills are essential.

Job Title: SAP Data Strategy & Governance Owner - 18 months + extension

***On behalf of one of our key partners, RED now has a new opportunity for an IT Data Strategy expert to join their SAP S/4HANA implementation project.

The initial contract will be for 18 months with potential for long-term scope. This position is to start ASAP and will be almost 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop a holistic data strategy concept and align it with all stakeholders; own the strategic data & analytics concept handbook.
2. Define and ensure the implementation of the data & analytics governance organization.
3. Establish and manage the Governance PMO to oversee and coordinate governance projects.
4. Establish, lead, and facilitate Communities of Practice (CoPs) and governance bodies (Data Owners, Data Stewards, etc.).

Required Skills and Experience:

1. 10+ years of data experience.
2. Strong experience designing Digital and/or AI data strategies.
3. ERP implementation project experience.
4. Experience driving data strategy implementation during ERP implementations.
5. Strong experience with data for manufacturing clients.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Available to join within 4 weeks.
8. Must be based in Spain.
