The role involves ensuring product quality and guiding lower-level staff. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience and skills in handling crops and chemicals safely, along with proficiency in both local language and English.

Purpose

Execution of routine tests and productions on seed and plant material, following regulations, protocols, directions, and instructions to establish product quality data or support research programs.

• Independently execute and assess routine tests and productions, including administrative processing.
• Record results in designated systems and signal abnormalities.
• Properly use all basic equipment and troubleshoot simple issues.
• Read, understand, interpret, and apply protocols for tests and productions, and signal errors.
• Plan daily activities, including those of lower-level technicians when appropriate.
• Induct and guide lower-level technicians and interns if applicable.
• Ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
