Job Description: Facility Manager at Alstom

At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people. We are seeking a full-time Facility Manager in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda (Barcelona).

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and coordinate all activities related to installations maintenance and general services management.
  2. Work closely with teams across the business (demand planning, supply chain) to ensure efficient and safe operation of installations.
  3. Manage and supervise maintenance activities for electrical systems, mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, structures, etc.
  4. Coordinate and supervise tasks by maintenance teams and external contractors, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  5. Plan and oversee renovation, repair, and improvement projects for facilities.
  6. Manage general services including cleaning, security, catering, and other support services.
  7. Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental regulations.
  8. Manage the facilities and services department budget, control expenses, and optimize resources.
  9. Negotiate and renew contracts with suppliers, supervising work quality.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to support daily operations and maintenance needs.
  11. Maintain records of maintenance activities, services, and legal controls.

Qualifications:

  • Technical degree, industrial engineering, electromechanics, automation, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance management within an industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance techniques and project management.
  • Understanding of safety and environmental regulations applicable to industrial maintenance.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software (CMMS).
