Position Details

This position reports to: Manufacturing Unit Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance within your manufacturing and site services areas. You will support the Ring Motors business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge, offering solutions and advice, and ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain. The work model for this role is onsite at the Trapagaran, Spain factory, contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries division.

• Report HSE incidents to management and relevant stakeholders, and take appropriate actions.
• Facilitate and assist in incident investigations to learn and mitigate risks.
• Provide feedback on lessons learned and best practices within your unit and across ABB.
• Support behavioral change through the implementation of performance improvement programs.
• Lead projects related to environment and sustainability, focusing on circularity and zero waste to landfill.

Qualifications

• Degree or Higher Degree in Engineering, Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in related roles.
• Experience with HSE procedures in manufacturing plants and international site activities.
• Engagement in the mining or energy industries is preferred.
• Proven experience as an HSE technician.
• Passion for occupational health, safety, and sustainability.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
