Giesecke+Devrient in Barcelona seeks a Configuration management Engineer to design, develop, and execute test strategies for embedded software. You will work with software developers, system architects, and product owners to deliver reliable, secure infrastructure solutions.

Role requires CI/CD experience, scripting, and strong security awareness in an air-gapped environment, plus collaboration across global teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in CI/CD.
• Knowledge of DevOps processes and workflows.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++).
• Experience with project tracking and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Resourcefulness and adaptability in infrastructural constraints; able to innovate when tools are unavailable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Nexus, Terraform/OpenTofu, Kubernetes.
• Experience working within a high security air-gapped network.
• Experience in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Knowledge of smartcards and telecom standards is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provision, configure, and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Perform regular maintenance on infrastructure and servers.
• Monitoring and Observability: track system health, performance, and uptime with logs and alerts.
• Focus on security and compliance in a high-security air-gapped network; automate security controls and vulnerabilities remediation.
• Maintain and secure a high-security air-gapped network; automate security policies and patching lifecycle.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools, and methodologies.
