Giesecke+Devrient is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Middleware team to modernize critical platforms and services used worldwide. You will drive automation, CI/CD excellence, and reliability across multiple projects with collaboration across engineering, database, IT, product, and R&D.

You will design and operate on-premises Kubernetes environments, lead IaC efforts using Ansible, Terraform, and Helm, and implement robust monitoring and incident response to support

Formación

• Experience in DevOps, SRE, IT Operations, or Production Engineering.
• Strong Linux and Windows administration skills.
• Production support and troubleshooting of Java applications.
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server and/or Oracle.
• VMware ESXi and basic networking knowledge.
• Monitoring and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Understanding of microservices and modern application architectures.
• Good command of English, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple sites and datacenters.
• Operate on-premises Kubernetes environments and legacy platforms.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code initiatives and automation strategies.
• Implement and enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform Root Cause Analysis.
• Support software release processes and platform optimization.
• Lead automation efforts using Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Database, IT Operations, Product, and R&D.
