The project!

Leading the development, implementation, and oversight of our climate strategy, ensuring transparent climate-related reporting and contributing to our sustainability goals.

What will the role entail?

• Governance: Maintain accessible, up-to-date internal ESG policies, ensuring compliance with sustainability regulations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Monitor relevant laws and standards related to environmental and sustainability issues in fashion.
• ESG Reporting: Lead data collection, analysis, and reporting in collaboration with Finance, HR, and Product teams, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Reporting Automation: Use platforms to automate ESG reporting, meeting current and upcoming regulations.
• Climate Strategy: Develop and implement a climate strategy aligned with best practices and sustainability goals, including science-based targets.
• Carbon Footprint Measurement: Implement tools to calculate AWWG’s corporate and product carbon footprints.
• Decarbonization Plan: Design and execute plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across all scopes, staying updated on climate science and regulations.
