This position offers a remote work setup in Spain and a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday.

Formación

Annotator SME Role Description

You will serve as a key reviewer, ensuring the accuracy and quality of annotated medical text, transcriptions, audio, and related data. Your responsibilities include cross-checking annotations, providing feedback, and upholding compliance with project guidelines and industry standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Annotate clinical data from various databases.
  2. Summarize physician-patient encounters with high accuracy for AI learning, working on medical transcriptions, dialogues, and clinical texts.
  3. Cross-annotate and review work by other specialists.
  4. Conduct Quality Control, addressing issues efficiently.
  5. Ensure annotation consistency across tasks.
  6. Deliver tasks meeting KPIs, metrics, and quality standards.
  7. Identify and escalate anomalies or patterns.
  8. Maintain daily communication with the Language Lead and PM regarding assignments and priorities.
  9. Foster a positive team environment.
  10. Adhere to project specifications and procedures.
  11. Contribute to process improvements by identifying gaps and suggesting solutions.
Minimum Requirements
  • Background in medicine, healthcare, medical translation, or life sciences.
  • At least 1 year of experience in clinical documentation, scribing, transcription, or coding.
  • Native Dutch with fluent English speaking and writing skills.
  • Excellent listening skills in Dutch, with the ability to understand various accents and dialects.
  • Experience in annotation projects within healthcare or the medical domain is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Technical curiosity and experience working in different technical environments.
  • High attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of clinical parameters, medical terminology, AHDI guidelines, and ontologies (e.g., ICD-10-CM, SNOMED-CT, CPT, RxNorm, LOINC) is a plus.
