Formación

• At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Go frameworks such as Gin, Revel, Echo, Beego.
• Intermediate English proficiency required.

Descripción del empleo

We are seeking a dedicated, motivated, and reliable Senior Golang Engineer who is interested in providing innovative software solutions for our clients. Be a part of our team as we continue to deliver high quality products and services. The Senior Go Engineer will be responsible for building backend services in Go in EKS, as well as some Lambdas. The overall project will be centered around providing product data and managing the product life cycle. Responsibilities

1. Use your deep expertise in Go and related technologies to develop high-quality, scalable, maintainable software solutions.
2. Make technically sound decisions and champion high standards of coding and architecture best practices.
3. Develop and maintain software documentation such as technical specifications and design documents.
4. Continuously enhance the team’s performance through mentoring, code reviews, and process improvements in the SDLC.
5. Troubleshoot and debug software issues as they arise.
6. Collaborate within a cross-functional team and translate functional and non-functional requirements into actionable tasks.
7. Manage communication of progress and status to stakeholders.

We Are Looking For

1. At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
2. Proficiency in Go (Golang), including syntax, semantics, database connectivity, and object-oriented concepts.
3. Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
4. Experience with Go frameworks such as Gin, Revel, Echo, Beego, etc.
5. Strong understanding of web services (HTTP, SOAP, REST, GQL, etc.).
6. Knowledge of relational databases.
7. Experience troubleshooting issues and performing root cause analysis.
8. A proven track record of delivering high-quality, tested software on time.
9. An open mind and patience to explain issues constructively.
10. Strong communication skills, with at least intermediate English proficiency.
11. Experience working in distributed, cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

1. Kubernetes or EKS.
2. Experience with Shopify.
3. DynamoDB.
