About the role

A large multi-year programme is underway to implement a new finance platform using the market-leading EPM solution, OneStream. This platform will support various finance use cases, including reporting, planning, budgeting, technical forecasting, reconciliations, and tax. This role offers a significant opportunity for an experienced developer with expertise in enterprise performance management (EPM) platforms. It involves responsibilities across analysis, design, and development for OneStream applications in a quality-first environment.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Collaborate with business customers to understand their requirements.
2. Design solutions and implement business requirements accurately.
3. Provide application support for built solutions.
4. Estimate work efforts for project planning.
5. Design sustainable, scalable, and low-maintenance software solutions.
6. Reduce technical debt where appropriate.
7. Liaise with peer system owners to understand, document, and mitigate impacts.
8. Build solutions using industry best practices, technologies, and standards.
9. Support business users during User Acceptance Testing.
10. Deploy solutions with care and contingency planning.
11. Manage releases, runbooks, and hypercare support.
12. Collaborate with IT teams across architecture, infrastructure, analysis, testing, and digital operations.
13. Document technical designs, constraints, and codebases for knowledge sharing.
14. Ensure compliance with organizational, legal, regulatory, and security standards, including SOX.
15. Develop expertise in OneStream through project work and continuous learning.

What is expected of you :

Educational / Experience

1. A degree in Finance, Business & Economics, Information Management, or related fields.
2. 5+ years of professional development or consulting experience with a multi-dimensional EPM platform.
3. Strong understanding of EPM concepts, financial planning, budgeting, consolidation, and reporting.
4. Knowledge of the full SDLC.
5. Experience in an Agile environment is desirable.
6. Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, eager to improve and enhance team efficiency.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Technical / Functional

1. Experience with multi-dimensional platforms (TM1, Oracle, SAP, OneStream, Tagetik, Adaptive).
2. Knowledge of VBA, VB.net, Visual Basic, or object-oriented programming.
3. Excellent Excel skills.
4. Understanding of version control software.
5. Good time and work management skills.
6. Strong problem-solving skills.
