We are looking for a Global Senior Manager M&A Div Technology to manage the M&A Tech's deal and project portfolio to ensure delivery. You will ideally come from a deal, project, and portfolio management background within a technology pharmaceutical environment.

The M&A Tech Sr. Global Manager is essential in strategically planning, managing, and executing strategic IT initiatives within our company.

With a strong emphasis on demand and portfolio management, this position is crucial for managing and maximizing the M&A Tech's deal and project portfolio to optimize resource efficiency and align with business objectives. You will work with deal and project managers and serve as a strategic partner to the Strategic Business Stakeholders overseeing the Sandoz deal portfolio and supporting Technology departments. Your responsibilities include monitoring deal progress from pre-DD to full integration or divestment, resource availability, and stakeholder engagement. The role involves managing aspects of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), such as integrations, divestitures, and strategic projects from inception to completion, while maintaining confidentiality. You will report to the M&A Tech Lead and be part of the M&A Tech team.

Key Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Tasks :

  1. Strategic Business Partner : Drive and ensure that M&A demand is captured and collaborate with Technology functions to deliver quality services to stakeholders.
  2. Demand Management : Forecast and manage demands, prioritize initiatives within the deal portfolio, and monitor related activities depending on deal stages.
  3. Portfolio Alignment : Ensure deals and projects align with strategic business goals, collaborate with leadership, and review deal and project objectives regularly.
  4. Stakeholder Communication : Maintain effective communication with deal owners, sponsors, and stakeholders. Develop communication plans, organize meetings, and provide regular updates.
  5. Performance Monitoring & Risk Management : Analyze data, assess progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans. Manage escalation processes and monitor performance metrics.
  6. Resource Planning : Monitor resource needs, optimize allocation, and develop forecasting tools. Conduct regular resource reviews.
  7. Continuous Improvement : Lead process enhancements, foster innovation, and organize training workshops.
  8. Compliance and Security : Ensure adherence to security and compliance policies.
  9. Due Diligence & Deal Leadership : Oversee due diligence lifecycle, ensure quality standards, and act as Tech Deal lead when needed.
  10. Leadership : Provide leadership to tech deal and project teams, fostering innovation and high-quality results.

Key Performance Indicators :

  • Stakeholder satisfaction, demand fulfillment, strategic alignment, delivery on schedule and budget, process improvements, compliance, and security metrics.

Education / Language / Experience :

  • Master’s Degree in Tech, Business Administration, or M&A-related field.
  • Certifications like PMP, CSM are desirable.
  • Knowledge of business process analysis and key applications (SAP, MES, CRM).
  • Fluent English (oral and written).
  • 10+ years in due diligence, project, and portfolio management in tech environment, preferably pharma, with knowledge of GxP/SOX and IT standards.
  • Experience in strategic planning, leadership, stakeholder engagement, and use of portfolio management tools.
  • Background in continuous process improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Willing to travel 10-30%.
