Simple Life is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join our Tech team. You will design, build, and maintain streaming pipelines and ingestion systems, migrating pipelines to our own infrastructure while ensuring data is delivered to Snowflake with strong data quality and resilience.

You will evolve the AWS stack, manage IaC with Terraform, and monitor production data flows. The role requires 5+ years of Python and data engineering experience, plus deep knowledge of distributed systems, SQL, and

Formación

• 5+ years of commercial Python experience in backend or data engineering.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture including load balancing and sharding.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, containers in ECS/EKS).
• Experience building streaming pipelines (Kinesis, SQS or equivalents).
• Infrastructure as code experience (Terraform or equivalents).
• Working knowledge of SQL, including joins and window functions.
• Experience designing systems handling messy, delayed, or malformed input.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain streaming pipelines.
• Develop ingestion pipelines from third-party APIs, webhooks, and SDKs.
• Migrate data ingestions from SaaS tools to in-house infrastructure.
• Deliver data to Snowflake raw layer with schema consistency and idempotency.
• Evolve AWS streaming stack (Kinesis, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway) for cost efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform) for ingestion resources.
• Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve issues.
• Contribute to safe data access for AI agents and tooling.
