TechShack is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a long-term data engineering programme supporting a leading organisation within the insurance sector. The role sits in a modern AWS-based data environment and requires a genuinely strong data engineering background able to work across large-scale, production data solutions.

The project emphasises Python, Snowflake or Databricks, ETL/ELT, and modern cloud data architectures, with a consulting/professional services background as a big advantage.

Formación

• Strong Python and data engineering background in large-scale production data solutions.
• Experience with Snowflake or Databricks and modern cloud data architectures.
• Consulting or professional services background is a big advantage.
• Experience in insurance/financial services or regulated environments is beneficial but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Work in a customer-facing environment, communicating with stakeholders and taking ownership of technical delivery.
• Deliver end-to-end data engineering solutions in an AWS-based data environment.
• Translate requirements into scalable data solutions for the client’s data platform.
