UST is a multinational technology services company seeking a hands-on Data Engineer with strong Snowflake and Python expertise. You will transform telemetry, log, and event data into trusted insights within a small, high-impact team.

Responsibilities include building data platforms in Snowflake, developing ingestion pipelines, and creating governance-enabled data models. The role emphasizes scalable pipelines, testing, and collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.

Formación

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake data engineering.
• Solid development experience using Python.
• Proven experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data integration principles.
• Experience working with telemetry, event, usage, or log data at scale.
• Knowledge of query optimization, performance tuning, and cost management in Snowflake.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows.
• Understanding of data governance, security, access management, and retention practices.
• Experience creating reliable, maintainable, and tested data solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.
• English C1

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate engineering telemetry data platforms in Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain Python-based ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Ingest usage and telemetry data from engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and related platforms.
• Parse, normalize, and process high-volume telemetry, log, and event datasets.
• Create scalable and well-governed data models that support adoption, productivity, and value analysis.
• Build reliable, automated pipelines with monitoring, ing, and error handling.
• Develop evidence-grade reporting datasets that can withstand stakeholder scrutiny.
• Optimize Snowflake data models, queries, and storage strategies for performance and cost efficiency.
• Implement governance, access controls, data sensitivity handling, and retention policies.
• Follow modern engineering practices including testing, documentation, code review, and version control.
