A leading company in the lighting industry is seeking a Crew Leader to supervise crew members and ensure project safety and quality. The role requires at least 5 years of experience in lighting and retrofit, with responsibilities including task delegation, compliance with safety regulations, and administrative duties. Overnight travel is expected, making reliability and strong communication skills essential for success.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of lighting and retrofit experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• NRLT, CSLT, and/or CALT certification preferred.

Descripción del empleo

As the Crew Leader, you will supervise crew members, prioritize safety, and enforce policies and procedures outlined in the Company Handbook.

Job Responsibilities

1. Prioritize project tasks assigned by the Project Manager and delegate them appropriately to the team.
2. Ensure all crew members use proper safety gear and precautions at all times.
3. Prepare materials and maintain material inventories.
4. Complete administrative tasks such as filling out daily work tickets, taking photos, checking in/out of jobs, and communicating with Project Managers regarding job status and issues.
5. Ensure projects meet scope and workmanship standards and are completed on time.
6. Perform quality control on projects during closeout.
7. Enforce state laws regarding employee rest and meal breaks.
8. Immediately escalate personnel issues to the Project Manager.
9. Assist with installing lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, or related items.
10. Work from ladders, lifts, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring and fixtures, performing physically demanding tasks using appropriate tools and equipment.
11. Understand and comply with government and local regulations, ordinances, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications and Education

1. Minimum of 5 years of lighting and retrofit experience.
2. High School Diploma or GED.
3. Valid driver’s license required.
4. Willingness to travel and work overnight shifts.
5. Reliability and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Customer service skills for working directly with on-site personnel.
7. NRLT, CSLT, and/or CALT certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

1. Overnight travel up to 80%.
2. Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 lbs.
3. Work involves traveling to multiple job sites daily, including retail stores, commercial buildings, and warehouses.
