We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant in the UK / European Union.

Role Overview:

Seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support financial operations and statutory compliance across European entities. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage month-end closes, coordinate audits, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, familiarity with IFRS or US GAAP, and collaboration skills in a dynamic environment.

Accountabilities:

1. Lead month-end close processes for EMEA entities, including variance analysis and reporting.
2. Ensure statutory financial reporting compliance and coordinate external audits.
3. Manage daily accounting operations such as accounts payable, expense processing, and banking.
4. Prepare regulatory financial reports and analysis for local authorities.
5. Oversee internal financial controls implementation and review.
6. Collaborate with global finance teams, external vendors, and internal stakeholders.
7. Participate in financial systems improvements and process enhancements.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance roles.
• Fully qualified CPA, CA, ACCA, or CIMA certification.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Experience with international statutory audits and compliance.
• Experience in fast-paced, tech or SaaS environments is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite is advantageous.
