Position : Sales Engineer

Your primary responsibility will be supporting service projects related to repairs, modifications, and upgrades of Wärtsilä Marine Equipment. The preferred locations are Drunen, Schiedam, or Hattem in the Netherlands, but options in Finland, Spain, China, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Pakistan, Singapore, and India are negotiable. Depending on the location, hybrid remote work arrangements may be available.

Your Role and Responsibilities :

As a Sales Support Engineer, you will provide commercial, technical, and legal support to propulsion-related inquiries from Regional Sales Teams. You will generate sales support offerings, prepare technical and commercial documentation for solution proposals, undertake sales price calculations, and coordinate deal transfers from sales to project and engineering teams. Your work will involve defining the scope of solutions for proposals based on discussions with clients and internal teams. Tasks may be tailored to your skills and interests, working within a dynamic, diverse Project Services team.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with relevant maritime or technical industry experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and proactively
• Strong analytical skills and excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
