Job Description :

This role offers full remote or hybrid work arrangements. Applicants must be based in Spain or Romania and have a valid work permit to be considered.

The Tech & Engineering team :

We are a team of passionate engineers distributed worldwide, eager to learn and build state-of-the-art applications on the cloud. We focus on high-performance solutions while ensuring excellent user experiences.

The role :

You will develop and deploy new features and frameworks for our Samples software, an operational tool for managing collection launches for fashion and luxury brands, helping them track physical assets and optimize opportunities.

Responsibilities :

1. Build and maintain backend systems using PHP, MySQL, Laravel.
2. Develop front-end components with React, Vue.js, and optimize build processes with esbuild or similar tools.
3. Collaborate with design and product teams for user-friendly interfaces.
4. Design, develop, and maintain APIs for front-end support.
5. Conduct code reviews, write clean and efficient code, participate in architectural decisions.
6. Write and maintain unit tests for both front-end and back-end code.
7. Implement best practices in front-end development, performance, and emerging tech.
8. Maintain dependencies using npm & composer, ensuring security and stability.
9. Keep documentation up to date for codebase, APIs, and architecture.

Your Profile

• At least 3 years of full-stack experience in SaaS with Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL 8, Laravel, and understanding of code logic.
• Experience with modern bundlers like esbuild, webpack.
• Ability to write secure, scalable, and clean code following best practices.
• Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and results-oriented.
• Care about code maintainability and advocate for refactoring.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Extra-Credit :

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Design Systems.
