As part of our expansion, we are looking for an experienced Murex Developer (Contract) to support critical projects in risk management, trading, and financial systems.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Murex Developer with expertise in Murex front-to-back development, risk management, and trade lifecycle processes. This is a contract-based role offering flexibility while working on high-impact projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business analysts, traders, risk teams, and IT specialists to deliver scalable and efficient Murex solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Murex Development & Customization : Design, develop, and enhance Murex modules based on business requirements.
• Trade Lifecycle & Risk Management : Implement and optimize Murex functionalities across trade capture, risk calculations, and reporting.
• Integration & API Development : Develop APIs and integrate Murex with other trading and risk management systems.
• Performance Optimization : Improve system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with traders, risk managers, and IT teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Upgrades & Enhancements : Support Murex version upgrades and implement new features.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Murex development within a banking or financial institution.
• Strong expertise in Murex FO, BO, and Risk modules.
• Experience in Murex MxML (XML), Datamart, Market Risk, and VaR calculations.
• Hands-on experience in trade lifecycle management, market data, and curve building.
• Proficiency in Unix / Linux, SQL, and scripting languages (Python, Shell, or Perl).
• Experience integrating Murex with external trading systems and APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in Murex 3.1 upgrades and migrations.
• Exposure to cloud-based Murex implementations (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of financial products such as FX, Equities, Commodities, and Fixed Income.
• Contract-based opportunity with potential extensions.
