We are looking for a Product Marketing Specialist who can bridge the gap between technical product understanding and compelling go-to-market strategy.

Role Overview

In this hybrid role, you’ll wear two critical hats :

• Product Marketing – Own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market efforts for SCANOSS solutions.
• Pre-Sales – Partner with sales to support technical demos, solutioning, and customer onboarding discussions.

This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who enjoys being at the intersection of product, marketing, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing :

• Define and execute go-to-market strategies for new features and product launches.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product and marketing strategies.
• Create and manage content for case studies, whitepapers, blog posts, and sales tools.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to translate technical features into customer benefits.
• Partner with the sales team to deliver product demos and respond to technical inquiries.
• Understand client use cases and provide tailored product insights to support sales cycles.
• Act as a product expert in customer calls, webinars, and industry events.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in product marketing, technical pre-sales, or solutions engineering, preferably in B2B software or cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of software development practices and open source ecosystems.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, value-driven messaging.
• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
• Native English / C2 level; other languages are a plus.
• Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Software Composition Analysis (SCA), Open Source Compliance, or Application Security, cybersecurity, or DevSecOps.
• Previous customer-facing experience in sales engineering or technical consulting.
• Hands-on knowledge of Git, CI / CD pipelines, or code scanning tools.

First 90 Days :

• Month 1-2 : Dive into SCANOSS products through hands-on training with our product and development teams. You'll learn how to position our tools, refine product messaging, and start developing foundational marketing and sales support materials.
• Month 3+ : Begin working closely with sales to support customer conversations and demo scenarios, while also collaborating with marketing to drive product awareness and content strategy.

As you grow in the role, you'll take ownership of major product marketing initiatives, influence go-to-market strategy and expand your presence in pre-sales and community engagement. Long-term, this role can evolve into a leadership position shaping the future of product marketing and market strategy at SCANOSS.
