Junior Legal Counsel Spain

Location : Las Tablas Madrid Spain

Contract Type : Permanent (Fulltime)

Work Arrangement : Hybrid (Office & Remote)

About the Role :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Legal Counsel to join our team in Madrid, Spain. This role will support our Legal and Commercial teams by reviewing contracts, analyzing legal documents, assisting in real estate transactions, and ensuring compliance with Spanish legal regulations.

The ideal candidate has 12 years of experience in contract management, real estate transactions, or legal document drafting, with a solid understanding of Spanish real estate and corporate law.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Contract & Document Review
  • Analyze real estate and property owner documentation, issuing legal opinions on investment risks.
  • Assist in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contract terms and legal clauses.
  • Conduct due diligence on leases, title reports, mortgages, and other legal records.
  • Legal & Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with Spanish real estate and corporate regulations.
    • Assist in registering public deeds and legal agreements with the competent Notary.
    • Support in sending extrajudicial notifications when necessary.
  • Client & Internal Support
    • Provide legal support to internal teams and assist property owners in regularizing documents.
    • Maintain client relationships and participate in transactional processes.
    • Assist in preparing legal documents and data entry for contract management.

    What We're Looking For :

    1. Education :
    • Bachelor's Degree in Law and Master's Degree in Legal Practice (Mster de Acceso a la Abogacía), both from recognized institutions in Spain.
    • Active registration with the Spanish Bar Association (Colegio de Abogados).
  • Experience :
    • 12 years of experience in contract management, real estate transactions, or corporate law.
    • Knowledge of legal language related to real estate and telecommunications is a plus.
  • Technical Skills :
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Strong research and legal analysis skills.
  • Languages :
    • Spanish (C2) and English (B2), with C1 preferred.
  • Soft Skills :
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
