Location

Our Full Stack Software Engineer will be an integral part of our Engineering teams in EMEA. This role is based remotely in EMEA in one of our legal entities : the UK, Ireland, Estonia, or Spain. It is also available to contractors in other East European locations and Portugal.

The Opportunity

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will work on improving the DoiT Cloud Intelligence product and implementing new features. You'll collaborate with product managers and developers from other teams and participate in product-making decisions.

Responsibilities

• Implement features from proposal, through specification, to implementation and maintenance. Propose new ideas to enhance our products.
• Review code. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Improve the health of the codebase. Dedicate time weekly to housekeeping to manage technical debt.
• Provide feedback during planning and discussions to identify challenges early.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Full Stack engineer or Frontend / Backend engineer with a desire to learn Full Stack skills. Preference for stronger backend skills if not fully Full Stack.
• Solid understanding of programming languages, ideally Python and React, with knowledge of Go. Willingness to learn these languages if not already known.
• Experience developing solutions in the Cloud or using Cloud services is advantageous but not required.
• Commitment to continuous learning and development.
• Knowledge of software engineering practices.
• Passion for creating high-quality web / SaaS applications.
• Experience with Git / GitHub.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Self-organized, goal-oriented, confident, thorough, and tenacious.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving team environment.
• A sense of humor and enjoyment of work.

Bonus Points

• Experience with time series modeling, particularly forecasting.
• BA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Google Cloud or AWS in a production environment.
