Role : Site Manager

Germains, a company growing to be a leader in seed enhancement, is seeking a skilled Site Manager to join their team in Spain. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative seed treatment processes, aiming to improve efficiency and quality in our production environment.

As our Site Manager at Germains, you will oversee daily operations, implement and maintain safety standards, and drive continuous improvement in seed technology. You will apply your knowledge and experience to address challenges and lead a team of dedicated workers who, while experienced, require guidance to achieve higher professionalism. Your leadership will be key in elevating our operational standards and supporting Germains' mission to enhance seed performance for customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Monitor and maintain production/process specifications through careful management of equipment and controls.
  2. Ensure adherence to safety procedures and implement improvements as needed.
  3. Ensure employees are properly trained and aware of their responsibilities.
  4. Identify and resolve complex operational issues, implementing solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  5. Design, implement, and manage a maintenance program for all equipment and facilities in Spain.
  6. Review, plan, and manage production expenses and capital expenditures in line with budgets and plans.
  7. Engage effectively with customers and suppliers to resolve issues and ensure thorough preparation of operations capital requests.

What You'll Bring :

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant area (desirable).
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing/operations, especially in production/process equipment operations.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a professional team.
  • Deep knowledge of safety procedures and quality control in an industrial setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, especially for complex issues, with the ability to work independently and make critical decisions.
