Senior Frontend Web Developer

Mediktor is looking for a Senior Frontend Web Developer to join our Agile team in charge of the continuous improvements of our different product lines as well as the development and support of our different customer integrations.

About the team:

You will be integrated into a team that is moving towards Agility. As a startup company, we are fast-learners but still adapting some of the processes so you can help us in the shaping of our Scrum framework. You will be part of our rituals: daily meetings, Sprint planning, Spikes, Retros, refinements, regular brainstorming sessions, and after-work beers once per month! 1. Development and maintenance of web-based tools.
2. Development and maintenance of the Mediktor web library (SDK).
3. Design and development of new functionalities for our products dedicated to improving access to healthcare worldwide.
4. Customer support for SDK integrations.
5. Maintain our existing customer integrations (SDK, frames) as well as be part of new integrations for future customers.
6. Personalize our existing product lines to adapt to the customer’s needs.
7. Provide a good estimation of complexity and delivery time.
8. Participate in the web-related testing, validation, and deployment process.
9. Create good and maintainable technical documentation.
10. Contribute to building clean code with proper unit tests to keep code optimized.
11. Participate in code reviews and pair programming.
12. Ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimization.
13. Keep up with technological advances to optimize our software.
14. Communicate effectively of emerging technologies to decision makers.
15. Consider security, maintenance, scalability, and more when developing.
16. Cooperate closely with other team members (backend, Android, iOS, UX/UI, QA).

Requirements and Competencies/Skills:

Experience (minimum 4 years) in:

1. HTML5.
2. CSS/CSS3 and modern web design techniques.
3. VueJS, React, Angular, and similar frameworks.
4. Experience with component libraries (e.g., Quasar).
5. Comfortable working with source control programs such as Git, Subversion, etc.
6. HTTP & REST:

-- Experience consuming RESTful APIs.

-- Preferably Swagger or OpenAPI specs knowledge.

1. IndexedDB and web storage.
2. Unit testing.
3. Knowledge in web architecture.
4. Experience working alongside backend engineers to design and consume APIs.
5. Understanding of OOP.
6. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Node.js (server and front).
8. Experience with CI/CD.

2. High level of English and Spanish both written and spoken.
3. Excellence using Typescript.
4. Experience with project and incident tracking management tools (Jira and Confluence).

7. Experience in CI/CD, specifically Groovy scripts for Jenkins.
8. Experience in Agile environments (Kanban, Scrum).
9. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
10. Experience in a startup environment.
11. Highly self-motivated and independent/autonomous.
