About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Power BI Developer to join our fast-moving, performance marketing & ecommerce driven team. In this key role, you'll build advanced dashboards and data models that power smarter decisions across multiple brands. You'll be responsible for developing complex DAX logic, optimizing performance, and creating scalable, enterprise-grade BI solutions—while working at pace and staying responsive to evolving business priorities.

What You'll Do :

1. Advanced DAX Development: Create complex DAX calculations incorporating time intelligence, statistical functions, virtual tables, measure branching, and optimized performance patterns.
2. Data Model Architecture: Design scalable star schema models with relationships, hierarchies, and metadata to support enterprise-level reporting needs.
3. Dashboard Design & Development: Create interactive dashboards with dynamic measures, custom visuals, and intuitive navigation.
4. Advanced Power BI Techniques: Implement calculation groups, dynamic measure switching, and field parameters.
5. Performance Engineering: Use DAX Studio to identify bottlenecks, optimize queries, and analyze performance.
6. UI / UX Excellence: Engineer dynamic visuals, measure selectors, and modular dashboards for user-friendly experiences.
7. Data Storytelling: Use bookmarks, drillthroughs, and interactive elements to turn data into actionable insights.
8. Data Source Integration & SQL Development: Write and optimize SQL queries for Snowflake, BigQuery, MySQL, etc., to feed Power BI models.
9. ALM Toolkit & XMLA Endpoint Management: Manage semantic models and perform advanced administration tasks.
10. Enterprise BI Architecture: Design and implement scalable BI solutions with governance and security.
11. Technical Leadership: Guide best practices, train team members, and establish reporting standards.

Skills & Experience Required :

• Expertise with Power BI Desktop and Service.
• Advanced DAX skills, including complex calculations and virtual relationships.
• Experience with XMLA endpoints, ALM Toolkit, and enterprise deployments.
• Experience in e-commerce or marketing analytics.
• Proficiency with calculation groups, time intelligence, and model optimization tools like Tabular Editor and DAX Studio.
• Ability to create dynamic measures and interactive visuals.
• Knowledge of data security, RLS, and governance.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction.
• Excellent collaboration and documentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
