PharmaLex GmbH is seeking a GL Accountant for a fully remote position. The role involves various accounting activities, including sub-ledger reconciliation and reporting, while supervising clerks. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Finance and Accounting, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience, and must be fluent in English.

Formación

  • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting activities.

This is a GL Accountant position that requires the incumbent to perform a variety of accounting activities related to sub-ledger reconciliation, general ledger, and reporting; computes, classifies, and records transactions into the Company’s financial accounting systems. Provide supervision and guidance to AP and AR clerks according to the finance policies, systems, and processes in place.

  • This is a full remote job for someone who is already based in Portugal, Spain, or Poland
  • Records, classifies, and summarizes accounting transactions.
  • Complies various documents, verifies their accuracy with established procedures.
  • Assembles documents for computer input, verifying accuracy of itemized charges, account numbers, and total costs.
  • Select correct accounts; posts, verifies, and balances debits & credits entries.
  • Performs arithmetic calculations.
  • Maintains records through filing, retrieval, retention, storage, compilation, coding, updating & purging.
  • Responds to inquiries, checks accounting transactions to locate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepares weekly and monthly reports.
  • Prepares monthly management reports and schedules.
  • Prepares monthly accounts reconciliations.
  • Prepares Monthly Financial Reports and Balance Sheet Schedules.
  • Any other duties assigned.

Your Profile

  • Degree in Finance and Accounting.
  • Ideally, you have already gained your first relevant professional experience in comparable activities (1-3 years).
  • Solution-oriented.
  • Multi-tasking.
  • Practical thinking.
  • Good command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
