Procurement Business Partner

Mission

Provide professional procurement support to the Alcorcon Site, focusing on purchasing expenses, to facilitate effective negotiations on assigned OpEx, CapEx, and COGS categories. The goal is to deliver optimal value in terms of price, quality, and service, by coordinating and implementing business recommendations from Category Managers and rolling out FAMAR Group tools and procedures at the site level.

Develop a strategy for the business segment in collaboration with the Group's Category Managers and the Site.

Lead negotiations and contracts on assigned categories using a TCO approach, aligning with internal customer needs and contract execution.

Manage CAPEX negotiations in partnership with project teams.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality and service levels, implementing annual cost-saving initiatives, and optimizing cost avoidance in CapEx.

Focus on consolidating and creating synergies across sites for OPEX, supporting supply base rationalization.

Align and support site-specific feedback to define sustainable, business-relevant long-term procurement strategies that deliver measurable value such as savings, inventory reduction, and improved service levels.

Serve as the main contact point for internal customers regarding procurement topics and liaise with the Group Procurement Team, managing escalation processes.

Monitor COGS supply and procurement risks, organize coordination meetings between supply chain and procurement, and track situations using relevant tools or documents.

Support project savings related to COGS, liaising with sites and departments.

Contribute to NPI and awarded business quotations, including price updates for COGS.

Participate actively in project management.

Provide reporting within corporate systems.

Monitor supplier performance against defined KPIs per category, ensuring improvement plans are implemented if deviations occur.

Review OPEX expenses monthly and monitor performance against budgets.

COGS MPV report: Collaborate with Category Managers to analyze main deviations related to the site.

Requirements

University degree, preferably in Science, Engineering, or Business.

At least 7 years of relevant experience within an industrial environment, preferably in Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics, Fine Chemicals, or Food industries.

Strong expertise in procurement processes, TCO approach, e-tools, cost modeling, negotiation, project management, budgeting, risk assessment, supplier qualification, rationalization, and contracting.

Broad experience with OPEX, CAPEX, Raw Materials, and Packaging Materials.

Proficiency in PC use, with excellent knowledge of ERP systems (key user level) and Excel.

Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Soft skills including time management, communication, autonomy, self-confidence, results orientation, and customer focus.
