Business IT Specialist as Application Manager

Location: Hanover

Employment Type: Full-time

Tasks

1. Support, administer, and develop applications, especially in planning and reporting (Oracle EPM and UNIT4 FP&A).
2. Create and manage artifacts such as forms, dashboards, navigation flows, and business rules.
3. Manage roles, authorizations, and the entire approval process.
4. Analyze technical requirements and implement solutions efficiently.
5. Perform system adaptations, upgrades, and performance optimizations.
6. Support integration with upstream systems (e.g., SAP R/3) and optimize ETL processes.
7. Train and support departments in using Oracle EPM modules.

Requirements

1. Degree in (business) informatics, business administration, or similar qualification.
2. Experience in application support and development, especially in planning, financial consolidation, or analysis.
3. Experience with FP&A systems like UNIT4 and ERP systems such as Oracle ERP, SAP R/3, or S/4HANA is advantageous. Basic knowledge of databases (Oracle SQL) and ETL is also beneficial.
4. Strong understanding of financial processes, controlling requirements, and multidimensional databases.
5. Independent, reliable, motivated, and team-oriented work approach. Good communication skills and instinct for critical situations.
6. Fluent German skills (at least C1 level).
