Team Leader IT Infrastructure & IT Operations (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of System Architects, Engineers, and Support staff, fostering continuous improvement and motivation.
• Support individual growth and promote teamwork and process improvements through mentoring and agile practices.
• Organize and oversee analysis, specification, and prioritization of infrastructure, processes, and tools with stakeholders.
• Serve as the interface between infrastructure, IT operations, departments, and external providers.
• Ensure smooth IT operations, focusing on modern hosting and cloud solutions like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Contribute to and implement IT strategy, guidelines, and compliance standards such as ISO 27001.
• Develop and maintain IT security strategies, including risk and incident management.
• Manage escalations related to technical faults as part of incident management.
• Lead technical IT projects to enhance and scale the IT landscape.
• Optimize operational processes, support capacity planning, and assist with cost management and audits.

Your experience and skills

• Degree in computer science, IT, or a comparable qualification.
• Extensive experience managing IT teams and projects.
• Deep knowledge of cloud and hosting infrastructures like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with IT governance, security strategies, and ISO 27001 standards.
• Strong leadership, coaching, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
