Exploring the role
RateGain is privileged to partner with hotels of every size and type around the world to achieve their commercial objectives – from independent, luxury, lifestyle, and boutique hotels, to the world’s largest chains. Chains - and multi-site operators - have unique business requirements, additional complexity, and often use more diverse technology solutions. As a partner of choice for global and regional chains, RateGain is looking to further serve this important segment of the hospitality industry and seeks an experienced Director focused on European markets, to further scale this essential unit of our business.
The ideal candidate will understand how European hotel chains function and operate, and will be familiar with the technology solutions adopted by these chains to achieve their commercial objectives. The role requires a trusted advisor, able to assist chains to manage through the complexities of the travel technology eco system to guide them to the right decisions in the areas of distribution, business intelligence, marketing technologies, and beyond.
This is an individual contributor role and, as such, the candidate is expected to be a self-started and self-driven, ready to innovate to find new values for our hotel chain clients whilst keeping the company goals and the bigger picture firmly in mind. This position can be based anywhere in Europe and needs to have the ability to travel within the EU without limitations.

Education & Work Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Hospitality Technology sales to European Hotel Chains, ideally within the Distribution and Revenue Management segments, with proven experience of exceeding goals, and driving customer satisfaction
