A growing international business is seeking an experienced Interim General Ledger Accountant for a 6-month remote contract. The role involves managing core finance operations, ensuring financial record accuracy, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. Ideal candidates will have a strong GL accounting background and experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite.

Hiring : Interim General Ledger Accountant (6 Month Contract)

We’re currently partnering with a growing international business seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant.

Role Overview: This 6-month contract role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is confident managing core finance operations independently.

You’ll work as part of a high-performing, international team and be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, supporting the month- and year-end close, and managing data flows between financial systems.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and post monthly general ledger entries, including accruals and amortisations
2. Reconcile key accounts such as banks, intercompany, and payables
3. Assist with VAT and tax booking accuracy and reporting
4. Coordinate system data imports and ensure seamless integration into NetSuite
5. Contribute to internal controls and support audit readiness
6. Provide support across finance operations, including HR-related reconciliations

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong background in GL accounting and financial reconciliation
• Experience working in multinational or fast-paced environments
• Proficiency with ERP systems – NetSuite experience is a strong advantage
• Reliable, hands-on, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working remotely and engaging with teams across different time zones
