Tasks

1. Contribute to migrating legacy frontend code to a modern architecture based on Web Components using Lit.
2. Research and propose solutions for implementing Microfrontends, including evaluating build tools like Vite or others.
3. Design and implement reusable, high-performance, accessible, and well-documented components.
4. Optimize frontend performance, including load times, rendering, and asset management.
5. Implement and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for the frontend.
6. Collaborate with backend teams to define API interface contracts.
7. Refine technical specifications and UI/UX requirements.
8. Manage frontend deployment, with familiarity with platforms such as AWS S3.
9. Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
10. Mentor team members on modern frontend development and architectural patterns.
11. Identify and resolve complex frontend issues and bugs.
12. Work closely with UX/UI designers and stakeholders.
13. Contribute to improving frontend development processes and standards.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have:

1. At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Frontend Developer.
2. Hands-on experience designing and implementing Web Components, preferably with Lit.
3. Experience migrating legacy frontend code to modern architectures.
4. Knowledge of modern build tools like Vite, Webpack, Rollup, and the ability to evaluate them.
5. Proficiency with Git workflows.
6. Experience with automated testing tools such as Jest, Testing Library, Cypress, or Selenium.
7. Knowledge or experience with Microfrontend architectures.
8. Experience deploying frontends on platforms like AWS S3 and CloudFront.
9. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend and performance issues.
10. Experience conducting code reviews and providing technical feedback.
11. Understanding of UX/UI principles and collaboration with designers.
12. Effective communication skills and ability to work remotely.
13. Fluent in Spanish and English; French and German are a plus.
14. Based in Spain or willing to relocate shortly.
