HAYS Technology collaborates with a leading manufacturer and distributor of calcium carbonate from the world's leading mineral and additive manufacturers.

Its wide range of products provides added value and offers synergies to final applications. It has more than 150 people in Spain, focused on prioritizing the needs of the market.

We are currently looking for a Data Project Manager_FREELANCE, who will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, follow-up and handover to Service Owner/Service Manager, ensuring compliance with the standards established in the project.

What would your duties be?

• Contribute on the definition of project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop a detailed project plan, including schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
• Define required resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to support project activities.
• Identify project dependencies and critical path activities to ensure timely completion.
• Lead and motivate the project team, providing direction, guidance, and support throughout the project life cycle.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring clarity and accountability.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify project stakeholders and establish communication channels to manage expectations and gather requirements and quality standards.
• Assure right and timely internal reports (time sheets, etc.) for proper internal control.
• Monitor resource utilization and performance and adjust allocations as necessary to optimize project progress.
• Coordinate with the Solution Design managers to secure additional resources and resolve resource conflicts.
• Analyse and report the project performance and cost according to the DTX project management system and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement corrective actions and process improvements to enhance project quality and efficiency.
• Communicate project status, progress, and key milestones to stakeholders through regular updates, meetings, and reports according to the DTX project management system.
• Address stakeholder concerns and issues in a timely and effective manner to maintain project alignment and support.
• Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Monitor project risks and issues throughout the project life cycle, taking proactive measures to minimize their impact.
• Facilitate the resolution of project issues and escalate to steering committee as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
• Follow the quality standards for the project deliverables and monitor compliance throughout the project life cycle.
• Ensure the right execution of the User Acceptance Tests.
• Facilitate the project deliverables transfer to the clients and Service Owner/Service Manager.
• Deliver a project closure report analyzing the project execution results, cost, quality and planning deviations and the lessons learned.

Which are the requirements for this position?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, project management, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering IT and digitization projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate project teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
