If you are interested in Flight Operational software design for military aircraft, this job could interest you. We develop and maintain Flight Operational SW for over 600 military transport aircraft (MRTT, A400M, and Light / Medium fleets).

Our SW Portfolio provides on-ground and in-flight solutions for Performance and W B managers, Pilots, Loadmasters, AROs, and Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Administrators.

The successful applicant will join an agile team developing the full Flight Operational SW portfolio, including : Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), A / C Performance, W B, EFB management SW, and Flight Operations Manuals authoring SW support.

Tasks :

• Analyze use cases and needs in collaboration with stakeholders of the Flight Operational SW team.
• Understand user workflows and define SW and GUI solutions using specific technologies to support Flight Ops SW production.
• Define and realize software architectures, evaluating and selecting the best architectural solutions.
• Create software documentation following Company Standards.
• Prepare and execute software tests for verification and validation, integrating activities into the Software Development Lifecycle, following the Software Development Plan and Standards.

Required Skills :

• University degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Senior software developer experience with SQL, MySQL, and data management systems.
• Experience with application frameworks such as Angular and Cordova.
• Knowledge of WebAssembly, ARINC-665, Plugins development, Eclipse, and Visual Studio Code for Typescript.
• Proven experience in Airbus Flight Operational SW development (e.g., FLYSMART, PAADMIN, GATEWAY, eQRH).
• Experience developing EFB software compliant with EASA regulations (AMC 20-25A).
• Familiarity with EFB configuration control (MDM) and ground-EFB data communication technologies.
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art EFB solutions.
• Object-oriented analysis and design using UML.
• Experience in hybrid mobile app development and GUI design for custom web applications.
• Good communication skills, proactive mindset, and team-oriented approach.
• Experience with agile development processes.
• Fluency in English is required.
