Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop IC packages, sockets, and high-speed optical connectors.
  • Create and refine optical measurement setups for precise lab testing.
  • Conduct thermal, mechanical, and tolerance analysis to ensure reliability and manufacturability.
  • Oversee prototyping using 3D printing and CNC machining for rapid iteration.
  • Collaborate with electronics, optical, and RF engineers to integrate mechanical designs seamlessly.

Qualifications

  • BSc / MSc in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in semiconductor, optical, or high-speed electronics industries.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Autodesk Fusion 360, Inventor, or similar).
  • Strong background in thermal management, mechanical stress, and tolerance analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and precision measurement tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with optical systems and high-speed data transmission hardware.
  • Knowledge of FEA simulations, EMI shielding, and mechanical reliability testing.
