We are recruiting a Finance Manager for our corporate site in Madrid. This role is responsible for the financial governance of the four Legal Entities of IBERIA, ensuring proper segregation of costs, managing complex / matrix set-ups, and tracking the Global Hubs and above-country functions based in Spain. The Finance Manager will partner with Senior Finance Heads in Iberia, Group Corporate Finance, STO Finance, and Local Boards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Coordinating the Country Finance Leadership Team and Corporate functions.
  2. Collaborating with BPA / FRA colleagues to support charging models for statutory or management reporting.
  3. Creating and defining SLA intra-group support and following up on it.
  4. Ensuring the adequacy of cross-charge allocations and proper FTE tracking among BUs, Hubs, and above-country functions.
  5. Consolidating and reviewing monthly results of the legal entities for accuracy and compliance.
  6. Understanding balance sheet implications as needed.
  7. Providing financial analysis for ad hoc projects as requested by senior management.
  8. Liaising with Technology / Digital teams on global systems projects for Finance in the country.
  9. Managing Transfer Price, Cross Country Statutory Management, and KPIs for legal entities.
  10. Handling shared areas with NVS post Orbit, STS x-charge model, Pension Plan Management.
  11. Coordinating consolidation and risk management at the Group level.
  12. Helping define and improve internal processes, often dependent on above-country hubs.
  13. Initiating and tracking CCC KPIs for the country and supporting cross-business projects.

What you need to bring to the role:

  1. University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; MBA highly desirable.
  2. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  3. At least 10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, with extensive BPA & FRA experience.
  4. Previous experience supporting Commercial Operations Business Units and functional partners preferred.
  5. Manufacturing exposure is desirable.
  6. Excellent analytical, strategic, and communication skills.
  7. Ability to understand the bigger picture and impacts of initiatives.
  8. Experience interfacing with parent and global counterparts.
  9. In-depth knowledge of Sandoz information systems like SHAPE, ASPIRE, Data Warehouse, BPC is highly preferred.
  10. Strong PC skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
