Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Category Manager to strategically source Food Services for our global Customer Fulfillment network. The role involves coordinating with multiple teams across Amazon, engaging with key suppliers, developing and executing category sourcing strategies, delivering savings, and enhancing productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish category sourcing strategies, lead cross-functional teams, negotiate with suppliers, and execute contracts to strengthen Amazon's competitive position.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to optimize solutions and costs, fostering continuous improvement.
  3. Manage suppliers to identify, monitor, and optimize opportunities.
  4. Provide market intelligence, anticipate strategic opportunities, and keep stakeholders informed.
  5. Drive Supplier Relationship Management activities to mitigate risks, improve performance, and add value.
  6. Achieve and report on savings and sustainability targets.
  7. Align with internal teams to understand business needs and develop relevant metrics to monitor performance.

Daily Activities:

  • Deliver innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable service solutions to support Operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers and internal teams to manage expectations and outputs.
  • Adapt roles from strategy to project management as needed to meet customer demands.
  • Deep dive into categories to unlock value and scale services for Operations.

Locations: Luxembourg, London, Barcelona

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, VBA, etc.)
  • Supply chain experience
  • Experience leading large negotiations
  • Experience working cross-functionally with non-technical teams
  • Data-driven decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Program or project management experience
  • Problem-solving skills in tight schedules
  • Experience managing end-to-end program strategy and communicating with senior leadership
