Customer Digital Product area is hiring a passionate User Research Lead to join the product discovery and strategy definition for Telefónica's main app across four countries. Our mission is to drive digitalization for Telefónica clients by leveraging our preferred digital channels and proven platform.

Role Overview:

As a Lead UX Researcher, you will lead and execute research initiatives to develop a deep understanding of users, informing product and service development. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, designing and implementing both qualitative and quantitative studies. Additionally, you will serve as the main advocate for user research best practices and foster a user-centric culture within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, coordinate, and conduct impactful user research addressing key user needs and challenges.
  2. Develop and implement research strategies, selecting appropriate methodologies to gather valuable user insights.
  3. Perform qualitative and quantitative studies, including interviews, focus groups, user tests, workshops, surveys, and data analysis.
  4. Collaborate with product design, development, and management teams to translate research findings into user-centric solutions.
  5. Communicate research insights effectively to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  6. Mentor and support other user researchers, promoting professional growth and best practices.

Required Skills:

  1. Experience leading user research in agile environments.
  2. Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  3. Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  5. Experience with tools such as UserZoom, Miro, Figma, Jira, and Confluence.
  6. Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary, collaborative teams.
  7. Results-driven with excellent time management and multitasking skills.

  2. At least 5 years of experience in user research, preferably in leadership roles.
  3. Additional certifications in research methodologies are a plus.
