We are seeking a Destination Manager based in Belgium to handle event booking and supplier relations for our groups in France and Belgium.

The job

As Destination Manager, your responsibilities include maintaining supplier relations, checking availability, confirming bookings, sending vouchers, pre-arrival checks, and resolving destination issues. You will coordinate with our sales team and clients to ensure quality service. Training will be provided, and you will be part of an Operations Team of six managing other destinations. This is a remote, work-from-home role, full-time (40 hours / week), including emergency weekend phone coverage 1-2 weekends per month. Expect busier periods during peak season and lighter workloads off-season.

We offer a competitive fixed salary plus a significant bonus structure. The role involves responsibility, autonomy, and self-management.

Please note : this is a Contract position, working as a Consultant or Freelancer full-time.

Main tasks include :

  • Negotiating with new suppliers
  • Managing and optimizing existing supplier relations
  • Making reservations via phone and email
  • Handling reservation changes, including last-minute adjustments
  • Finalizing bookings and communicating details to clients
  • Communicating with group leaders during trips
  • Coordinating with colleagues on bookings and changes
  • Being on-call for emergencies on weekends / nights (1-2 weekends / month)
  • Problem solving as needed

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have :

  • Native-level French proficiency
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and customer focus
  • Organizational talent (a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills internally and with clients
  • Quick adaptability to new IT systems
