IT Account Management Associate
Common Accountabilities
- Works autonomously within defined processes and procedures or methodologies, takes standard decisions, and may support the development of solutions to complex problems of a recurring nature.
- Receives instruction, guidance, and direction from more senior roles or managers, with regular monitoring of assignment status.
- Possesses specialized formal education or equivalent work experience, with the required technical and functional skills and basic knowledge of the business.
Specific Accountabilities
- Collaborates with Account Managers and Sales to provide solutions and ensure retention and growth of IT revenue from existing accounts.
- Identifies specific requirements and expectations for existing clients.
- Adopts a consultative selling approach.
- Develops customized account and business plans for each client based on IT opportunities.
- Identifies, qualifies, manages, and grows new IT business opportunities through market and business environment analyses, understanding customer strategies, and knowledge of Amadeus innovations and solutions.
- Ensures cross-selling and up-selling targets, including new product lines, solutions, and additional services.
- Provides timely sales support during the sales process for IT opportunities (RFPs, business as usual, etc.).
- Guides Product/Solution teams to define targeted and personalized solutions for key customers.
- Submits IT proposals and supports Account Managers in negotiations and closures.
- Transfers IT requirements for solutions to development teams post-closure.
- Follows up to ensure new products, enhancements, and solutions are developed and implemented on time.
- Maintains a high level of understanding of the current product portfolio, benefits, and relevant market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies.
Requirements
- Strong IT sales, account management, and consultative selling skills.
- Market analysis and business planning expertise.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously within established processes.
- Technical and functional knowledge of IT solutions and services.
