Job Description :

Responsibilities :

• Manage and lead a team of world-class Solution Engineers.
• Understand customers’ business requirements, technical needs, systems, environment, and service history to present targeted business solutions.
• Present roadmap, vision, proposed architectures, and business outcomes to all levels, including developers, architects, CTO, CIO.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and Support teams.
• Regularly liaise with the RSD and contribute to forecast planning.
• Participate in evangelism activities such as community connections, blogs, meetups, and industry events.

Qualifications :

• Experience building, leading, and managing teams.
• Passionate about fostering team culture, communication, collaboration, and innovation.
• Ability to identify and develop talent.
• Enterprise Software and Big Data experience; familiarity with tools like Pig, Hive, Spark, and cloud architectures; certifications preferred.
• Understanding of Data Lake concepts, including Operations, Security, and Data Governance.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure components (Hardware, Storage, Network), programming languages (Java, .NET, Python), and SQL.
• Interest and understanding of Data Science and Data Engineering.
• Passionate and inspiring leadership qualities.
• Proven OSS experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Familiarity with core Apache Hadoop components and architecture evolution.
• Solution Architecture / Engineering experience, including customer requirements analysis and solution design.
• Experience with EDW solutions like Teradata, Netezza, GreenPlum, Exadata.
• Cloudera certifications in Admin and / or Developer roles.
