YOUR ROLE

Would you like to bridge the gap between IT and business by using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations to executives and stakeholders? Are you passionate about change management and monitoring the performance of implemented solutions in order to strive for continuous improvement?

If so, we have the opportunity to join our IT Corporate Solutions Department at CEVA Logistics as our Senior IT Business Analyst.

You will be conducting needs assessments, gathering and documenting business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, process modeling, workflow analysis, and developing business cases for proposed solutions.

This role is open in Madrid and Barcelona, Spain and Lisbon, Portugal.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
  • You will develop and manage the business analysis approach, plans, and activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • You will align and document business requirements through various techniques such as interviews, workshops, and surveys.
  • You manage and maintain requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring traceability, prioritization, and alignment with business needs.
  • You analyze business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop business cases and feasibility studies to support decision-making.
  • You translate business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
  • You assess proposed solutions to ensure they meet business needs. You conduct post-implementation reviews to measure solution performance. You provide expertise to the design process.
  • You engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure their needs are understood and addressed.
  • You conduct data analysis to support decision-making processes and provide actionable insights. You utilize data visualization tools to communicate findings.
  • You support organizational change management efforts, ensuring smooth transition and adoption of new processes and systems.
  • You will share knowledge and best practices with team members and stakeholders.
  • You define delivery schedules and ensure execution to plan for assigned deliverables. You lead small scale internal projects as necessary. You coordinate delivery across IT teams.
  • You coordinate activities involving multiple IT expertise, suppliers, etc. You will support, manage and develop internal customer and supply relations.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • You have a University Degree in IT or Business, or equivalent experience.
  • You have 7-12 years of experience in business analyses and solution design.
  • You have experience of operating in a large company or recognized IT consultancy advantageous.
  • You are excellent in stakeholder management.
  • You have the ability to understand and document customer’s internal and external processes, policies, and systems.
  • You have a broad view of the business with an in-depth understanding of business strategy, operating processes and capabilities, business process standardization, enabling technologies, and governance.
  • Having BABOK, PMM, Top class solution design knowledge is a plus.
  • Having knowledge of key customer IT solutions or business processes is a plus.
  • Having a CBAP (PBA) or PMI certification is a plus.
  • You can do virtual teamwork working within a global team.
  • You are culturally and politically aware to read the room and use the right type of approach with the right type of stakeholder.
  • You have the leadership capability to create a unified and motivated project team.
  • You have strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations.
  • You are fluent in English; French is a plus.
