Artelier offers an exciting opportunity for a hybrid role combining Sales/Marketing Coordination and Art Consulting. Artelier is a leading Art Consultancy and Curatorial Services company with headquarters in Bristol, UK, and an office in Granada, Spain. Operating across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia, our projects include public art/exhibitions, artist estate services, private residential, yachts/aviation, corporate collections, and high-end hotels. We are a small, passionate, and dedicated team of over 12 professionals.

The role encompasses two main areas: marketing and art consultancy, which may sometimes operate independently and at other times overlap. We seek a talented individual with a proven marketing track record, a keen eye for detail, and a deep passion and knowledge of contemporary and modern art.

Criteria: Education & Experience

  • Degree or Master’s in marketing, business, arts (Fine Art, Art History, Design), or English.
  • Minimum two years of postgraduate experience in successful marketing strategies.
  • Specialist knowledge in SEO and current digital marketing trends.
  • Proven ability to create engaging marketing content and articles.
  • Experience with website design, layout, and social media platforms including Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Passion for modern and contemporary art with relevant professional experience.
  • Ability to write academically rigorous and contextually relevant art essays and critiques.

Job Requirements

  • Integrate art knowledge into effective marketing strategies.
  • Develop and implement successful SEO and online presence strategies.
  • Produce sophisticated, SEO-structured art and design-related content.
  • Manage online platforms such as Pinterest and LinkedIn, including video posts and article sharing using Buffer.

  • Research and pursue new sales leads and contacts within the industry.

As a small team, you may also handle other administrative tasks to support the wider team.

Job Responsibilities – Art Consultant

  • Stay informed about the latest trends in the art market and identify emerging talent.
  • Assist with research and development of artistic direction for projects.
  • Create written content for websites, brochures, and presentations.
  • Use design software such as InDesign and Photoshop for client and project materials.
  • Support artist estate projects with cataloging and management.
  • Expand knowledge of artistic mediums, techniques, and materials.
  • Deepen understanding of art history and contextualize our work within broader movements.
