Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease Unit is seeking a qualified individual passionate about utilizing healthcare data and platforms to drive business innovation. This role involves leading the development and maintenance of data management solutions, focusing on business process analysis and functional data management. The position reports directly to the Head of Data Management in IT and collaborates closely with Data Governance Offices, IT Business Partners, Data Capability leads, and Platform Owners.

Accountabilities

1. Manage end-to-end delivery and maintenance of data products for RDU Operations and Finance, translating business demands into data foundation needs and ensuring adherence to RDU standards.
2. Develop and oversee the roadmap of core and analytical data products aligned with business processes.
3. Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT system owners across MDM, RDM, and Data Catalogue to ensure compliance with FAIR and Trustworthy data standards.
4. Work with Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Data Quality Managers to promote data standardization and best practices.
5. Engage with SMEs and Information Architects to support the development of conceptual models, business glossaries, and ontologies.
6. Possess working knowledge of R/Python and SQL; experience with Pharma Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance data assets; familiarity with SAP, Anaplan, TrackWise, and LIMS systems.
