Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate .NET Senior Software Developer to play a major role in our development team.

Responsibilities

• Refinement of user stories and acceptance criteria
• Delivering features based on user stories
• Maintaining and improving quality standards
• Automating processes where appropriate
• Supporting the production operation of related systems

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience in agile practices and working with distributed teams
• Understanding of low latency, highly concurrent distributed systems
• Passion for role and commitment to delivering high-quality products
• Innovative approach to software development, including performance and security considerations

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of commercial experience in software solutions, ideally in e-commerce
• Proficiency in .NET (Core), C#
• Experience with data storage solutions like SQL Server or No-SQL
• Knowledge of best practices and design patterns for distributed systems
• Experience with CI environments like TeamCity, Jenkins, or GoCD
• Experience developing APIs (REST/SOAP) with JSON, XML, etc.
• Experience with TDD & BDD frameworks like xUnit, NUnit

Additional Information

Experience in the car hire / car broker industry is a plus but not essential. Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required.

Nice to have: Experience in developing cloud-native applications with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
