Your Role

As a Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and providing critical financial insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations and labor laws.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support business planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors for audits and tax filings.
• Provide financial analysis and reports to assist management in strategic decision-making.
• Implement and improve accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping / accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
• Expertise in Dubai Financial Regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification (a plus).
• Experience working in big companies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
