Mission

As a key player in our Business Development team, you will be responsible for enhancing Sener’s position in the in-space operations market by promoting our product lines in mechanisms, radiofrequency, and avionics. You will drive strategic business growth by identifying new opportunities and fostering innovation through participation in ESA and EC technology development programs.

Additionally, you will increase Sener’s visibility at international symposia and conferences dedicated to in-space operations, ensuring that our capabilities are recognized across the industry. You will work closely with customers, proposing tailored solutions that meet their needs while contributing to a sustainable revenue stream of approximately €6M per year in the in-space operations sector.

What you will do :

  • Strengthen Sener’s presence in the in-space operations market by promoting our existing product lines and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Drive strategic partnerships with key customers and suppliers, ensuring long-term growth.
  • Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to refine business strategies.
  • Lead the identification and pursuit of new opportunities from early detection to contract acquisition.
  • Represent Sener at international symposia and conferences, increasing awareness of our capabilities.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to customers within ESA and EC programs, including Space Transportation and Space Safety initiatives.
  • Lead the preparation of proposals for institutional and private initiatives, ensuring a high success rate.
  • Oversee and contribute to internal R&D efforts, developing technologies that align with future space market demands.
  • Maintain and update internal databases on customer relations and business opportunities to support decision-making.

What we expect from you :

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with a strong background in aerospace engineering and business development.

The ideal candidate should have :

  • MSc in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, or related fields).
  • Expertise in GNC techniques for close-proximity operations (e.g., relative navigation).
  • Knowledge of rendezvous and docking system interfaces.
  • Experience working within the European space ecosystem (market and industry).
  • Familiarity with ESA space transportation, space safety, and technology programs.
  • Proven experience preparing proposals for institutional entities (ESA, EC, national programs, and research grants).
  • Strong ability to develop market projections and research roadmaps in the telecommunications domain.
